Therapists and dinosaur bones

My role as a therapist can be summarized using the following analogy:

You're an expert archeologist. You've embarked on a new project in a remote part of the world. Dinosaur fossils have been discovered, and you're on the case. You're trying to find the fossils, extricate them from the earth, dust them off, assemble them, and make sense of them. From these, dinosaur 'bones' will be made, and your life might change forever as a result. You'll have new opportunities, money, and fulfillment. All of this is out there for you.

But, you need some help, so you call me.

I am a fellow expert, though in a slightly different branch of the archeological world. I'm good at two things: Finding the fossils and helping you make sense of them. You decide the project, and you work with the fossils and the resulting dinosaur 'bones.' This is a big project for me, too, but you represent the beginning and the end of the work. What you think is a worthwhile project, what you want help with, and what you do with the end product are all up to you. My assistance should ensure that you get there. You call me in to help maximize areas of your life that you think need an outside eye and ear, but you deserve, and will get, the spoils.

Curious about this analogy? Reach out to me today so we can talk.
